Had an incredible hot air balloon ride in Marrakech with Youssef as our pilot. His expertise and friendly demeanor made the journey seamless and enjoyable. We went on a sunrise balloon trip with Youssef, it was magical. Youssef is very welcoming, punctual, and knowledgeable about the hot air balloon world. The views were absolutely magical, the weather was amazing, a bit sunny and with some chill. We went up to 1000m above sea level and felt completely safe! We also had an authentic Moroccan breakfast at the camp. Just wonderful!
The organization of the event was really professional with pick up at the hotel, very kind drivers, the experience of seeing the balloons inflation in the dark was impressive. Now! The ballon ride was fantastic! The pilot of the balloon was very experienced and provide us a smooth flight, searching for points of interest.

We were picked up from our Riad by Yusuf at 6:00am. There were 5 adults who went on the Hot Air Balloon ride on October 18th in Marrakech. It was a small 8 person basket, which means not as crowded, so better photos!! This was our first time experience. Some of us had some reservations. But Yusuf made our sunrise balloon ride very comfortable and fearless. He took his sweet time. We were in the air almost for an hour. He was a wonderful and humorous guy. I highly recommend his service.
This was the best experience we have had while in Marrakech. Our guide and driver Youssef was outstanding, so informative and a lovely person. Would 100% recommend this if you are in Marrakesh, they pick you up from your hotel and take you on the trip then have breakfast with your group. This tour has smaller baskets which means it’s not as crowded so better photos!! Traditional Moroccan breakfast was brilliant.
Where do I start it was amazing start to finish.
My sister and I were picked up right outside the door of our riad by youseff.
We were drove by 4×4 to our balloon ,where we were giving tea/coffee to start.
They do smaller baskets making the experience even better and getting to see everything at a very comfortable angle, other company’s baskets looked over crowded.youseef was so informative and was a great photographer,lol
He did not rush our ride and we spent so much time in the air,over an hr.
After we landed ,we were taking for a beautiful traditional moroccan breakfast and then after returned back to our riad.
I recommend ballooning experience 100% ,youseff made it feel so personal and was the best trip and guide we have had in merrakesh.

Going home with very happy experiences
One of the most rewarding highlights of this year for my family. Youssef is a very dedicated kind guide and balloon captain. He picked us up from the main square on time. And he is very clear in his communication. His understanding off safety hospitality and service is shown in all the details. And has been made this from beginning to end a lovely comfortable experience. We lift off in our balloon in a group of 7 ( max 10) instead off the 25/30 cattledrive in one baskett other operaters prefer. And yes that makes it a big difference. Other balloons fly around 30 to 40 minutes while we where one of the first to leave the ground and gently landed again 58 minutes later.
My son and daughter felt nervous in advange but Youssef really reassure them. The costs are a bit higher compared to other operaters but it is such a different more exclusive experience. Youssef even surpassed expectations with a birthday cake for my daughter
